As the lead Art Director for a consumer engagement program for Black History Month, I was responsible for concepting the initiative and supporting web series, designing all digital assets and strategizing social engagement. We decided to honor the dreams of African Americans past and present by focusing on the power of black film.
We gathered a panel of industry professionals to discuss the state of the artform and their dreams for its future. Each week, a new episode aired to spark discussion.
Consumers uploaded videos of their dreams to our microsite for a chance to turn their story into a short film.
The film, created by filmmakers Coode & Chike, premiered at our experiential event at the American Black Film Festival in Miami.
