These were supposed to be “mini murals” but I couldn’t help but make ‘em bigger… especially when I started researching why Mount Holly’s “Bee Sanctuary City” designation meant so much for our local pollinators. My three designs are meant to spread awareness about bees through playfulness and whimsy.

2025 | Bee Art Sidewalk Murals
Catawba Avenue, Mount Holly, NC
The navigation between departments on the Maternity Care floor was so confusing, Novant Health Huntersville decided to install wayfinding signage to help patients along. But instead of sterile signs alone, they wanted something artful. Commissioned by Charlotte Is Creative, I designed a welcome sign and department signs in my custom lettering style. I added graphic shapes to imply motion that points patients in the right direction as they travel throughout the floor.

Huntersville, NC
Each Maternity Care section featured an overhead sign.
Direction “arrows” were positioned throughout the space. They have less contrast that the doorway signs in order to differentiate
I was able to complete my first mural commission at Zen Chi Lounge in East Charlotte thanks to a Creative Mecklenburg grant from the Arts & Science Council. The piece inspires reflection and flow through its inspirational words and fluid shapes.

2025 | Outdoor Mural
Charlotte, NC
This outdoor project was commissioned by Charlotte Is Creative. I worked alongside three other artists—Makayla Binter, Austin Keith-Grant and Ben Verner—to create custom icons and lettering in celebration of Classroom Central’s 23rd anniversary. Their mission to foster equity in education by providing free supplies to teachers and students inspired the subject matter of this mural.

This mural was commissioned by the City of Mount Holly and the Public Art Advisory Committee in order to increase pedestrian visibility and safety at a busy intersection. My design featured native plants of the Piedmont Region in honor of the city’s designation as a Bee Sanctuary.

2025 | Crosswalk Mural
Rankin & Hicks Ave., Mount Holly, NC
The owner of the house behind me was SO happy her street was quiet while closed off for painting. I’m not sure the rest of the City’s residents agreed lol
First time using traffic-graade paint! I loved how quickly it dried and shortened painting time.
Dr. Pepper x Charlotte Hornets
2024 | Hand-Painted Basketball
Spectrum Center, Charlotte, NC
Did you know molasses and juniper were two flavors in Dr. Pepper?! And prune?! And caramel?!
For the 2024-2025 season, the Charlotte Hornets partnered with Dr. Pepper to give 23 non-profits the chance to raise up to $23k for their organization. Game fans who visit the arena will vote for their favorite painted basketball and each vote earns the organization one dollar. I was commissioned to create the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Carolinas ball with their tagline “Ignite Potential”. As a nod to Dr. Pepper, I painted icons of their 23 flavors in my signature background style.

2024 | Pavilion Cinder Blocks
Sheffield Park, Charlotte, NC
During Party in the Park, I live-painted two 20”x24” cinder blocks of an outdoor pavilion in Sheffield Park. I was inspired by the surrounding forest and wanted to remind visitors that the beauty of the park is a gift from nature.
Block 2: Arms wrapped around the block as a nod to “tree huggers”.
I painted two Kan Jam cylinders for Mecklenburg Park & Rec’s 2024 This Is Meck” Festival. I was hired by Charlotte Is Creative, a local non-profit committing to supporting emerging artists in the Queen City.

2025 | Kiosk Mural
The Market at 7th Street, Charlotte, NC
A Black-owned craft creamy, The Social Cow, opened a kiosk in The Market at 7th Street. They commissioned me to design and paint a fun, engaging mural to encourage customers to live by their motto: Be Social, Stay Cool. I presented
Design drafts with in-situ comps, including client request for waffle cone.
Fun Fact:
The original “mint” paint I bought was more blueish and matched the color profile of the client’s logo (above-right). However, the on-site signage appeared more yellow. I changed the paint at the last minute and it matched perfectly with the other kiosk signage.
(I still have this cool-colored mint you anyone has project in mind!)
